Whole Wheat Pasta Fagioli
|Olive oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped canned tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs), drained|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat spaghetti||6 Ounce, broken into 3 inch pieces (Tiny)|
|Cannellini beans||12 Ounce, drained rinsed|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped fresh italian parsley||2 Tablespoon|
1. In medium saucepan, heat oil; saute tomatoes and garlic 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 3 cups water, the salt and oregano; bring to a boil. Add spaghetti; cook 7 minutes, until almost tender.
2. Stir in beans; cook 3-4 minutes longer, until spaghetti is tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
