Ingredients
  Pastry 1
  Italian ricotta cheese 1 Pound
  Eggs 1⁄4 , beaten
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped pistachio nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Slivered citron 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped candied orange peel 1 Tablespoon, chopped
Directions

Line an 8-inch pie plate with 1/2 the pastry.
Combine re- maining ingredients and mix well.
Pour into pastry shell.
Roll out remaining dough and cut in strips.
Arrange in lattice fashion on top of filling.
Bake in a moderately hot oven (375°F.) 20 to 30 minutes, or until browned.
Serve warm or cold.
