Low Cholesterol Zabaglione
|Low sodium low fat milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Tablespoon|
|Marsala||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Egg whites||5 (At Room Temperature)|
1.In a saucepan, add milk.
2.Add in cornstarch and fructose and mix to dissolve cornstarch thoroughly .
3.Bring to boil over low heat.
4.Let simmer to thicken the sauce.
5. Remove from heat.
6.Now, add in vanilla extract, Marsala wine, blend well.
6.Beat egg whites to stiffness.
7. Fold into sauce.
8. Into sherbet glasses pour warm and serve.
9. Can be served as sauces over pies, caked and even fresh fruits.
10.Serve chilled as cold sauce.
