Italian Fusilli with Sausages

Ingredients
  Dried fusilli 12 Ounce
  Turkey italian sausage 8 Ounce
  Italian style tomatoes 2 Can (20 oz), sliced and stewed
  Fennel seeds 2 Teaspoon
  Basil 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Basil sprigs 2 (To Garnish)
  Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon (To Garnish, Asiago)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. In an eight quart pot covered up to three quarters with water, bring it to a boil with the lid on over high flame
2. Add pasta and cook without a lid till al dente, for say ten minutes
3. Preheat an omelette pan over medium flame until the rim turns hot to touch; add sausages into the pan and cook, breaking the meat into chunks till browned
4. Add tomato and fennel seeds, turn the heat down and simmer without a lid for five minutes; add chopped basil and drained pasta and toss around to mix

SERVING
5. Spoon on to platters, garnish with basil sprigs and sprinkle cheese on top; season with salt and pepper and sere
