Ingredients
  Egg yolks 4
  Confectioners powdered sugar 4 Tablespoon (10X)
  Half-and-half 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Milk And Cream)
  Sherry/Rum flavouring 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In top of a double boiler, beat the egg yolks till they are creamy-thick. Add the 10X sugar gradually and beat well. Stir in the half-and-half.
2) Cook the mixture, constantly stirring, over water which is simmering but not boiling. Cook till the sauce slightly thickens and starts to coat a metal spoon. Take the pan off the heat. Strain the sauce into a small bowl.
3) Add the sherry or rum flavoring along with the vanilla.

SERVING
4) Serve chilled or warm.
