Minestrone Soup

Ingredients
  Leek 1
  Onion 1 Large
  Carrot 1
  Cabbage 6 Ounce (175 Gram, White Or Green)
  Celery stalks 2
  Frozen green beans 9 Ounce (1 Small Packet)
  Canned tomatoes 14 Ounce (400 Gram)
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Basil leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Water 1 1⁄2 Pint (900 Milliliter)
  Broken macaroni 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Grated cheese 3 Ounce (75 Gram)
Directions

MAKING
1) Using a knife, trim the leek. Wash and clean thoroughly. In a shredder, shred finely.
2) Using the knife, slice onion, carrot, celery and cabbage thinly.
3) Take a large pan, and add in green beans, tomatoes, herbs, seasoning and pour in water.
4) Allow it to come to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

SERVING
5) Serve the soup hot in soup bowls with cheese sprinkled on top.
