Hunt's Linguine With Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Fresh minced garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tomato sauce 15 Ounce (1 Can)
  Baby clams 1 Can (10 oz), reserve 1/4 cup clam juice (Whole)
  Chopped fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Dried basil leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Linguine 3⁄4 Pound, cooked and drained
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Use a large saucepan to heat oil.
2) Add onion and garlic to sauté until tender.
3) Stir in tomato sauce, clams, clam juice, parsley, basil, oregano and pepper.
4) Reduce heat to simmer the mixture without putting any cover for 10 to 15 minutes by occasional stirring.

SERVING
5) On a serving platter, place cooked linguine and spread the sauce on top. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, before serving.
