1) Use a large saucepan to heat oil.
2) Add onion and garlic to sauté until tender.
3) Stir in tomato sauce, clams, clam juice, parsley, basil, oregano and pepper.
4) Reduce heat to simmer the mixture without putting any cover for 10 to 15 minutes by occasional stirring.
5) On a serving platter, place cooked linguine and spread the sauce on top. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, before serving.
