Cottage Cheese Tiramisu
|Fat-free cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted powdered sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|1/3 less fat cream cheese||2 1⁄2 Ounce, softened (1/3 Cup, Neufchatel)|
|Kahlua||1 Tablespoon (Coffee-Flavored Liqueur)|
|Instant coffee granules||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ladyfingers||6 , split|
|Grated semisweet chocolate||1 Teaspoon|
1. Place first 3 ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Set aside.
2. Line a 5 3/4- x 3 1/4- x 2-inch loaf pan with heavy-duty plastic wrap, allowing wrap to extend 1 inch over both ends of pan. Set aside.
3. Combine water, liqueur, and coffee granules. Brush cut sides of 6 ladyfinger halves with liqueur mixture; place, cut sides down, in bottom of prepared loaf pan. Spread half of cheese mixture over ladyfingers in pan. Repeat procedure with remaining ladyfingers, liqueur mixture, and cheese mixture. Cover loosely with plastic wrap, and chill at least 8 hours. Carefully lift dessert out of pan, using edges of plastic wrap. Cut dessert in half crosswise. Place each half on a dessert plate. Sprinkle evenly with grated chocolate.
