Ingredients
  Finely chopped onions/Finely chopped scallions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
  Canned pork and beans 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned cannellini beans/Canned white kidney beans 19 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned chicken broth 46 Ounce (1 Can)
  Ditalini/Elbow pasta 16 Ounce (1 Package)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Rosemary 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Italian seasoning 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Parsley 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated parmesan cheese/Grated romano cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Saute onions in olive oil in 6-quart saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes or until tender.
Add beans and chicken broth; mix well.
Cook pasta using package directions; drain.
Add to soup with salt, garlic powder, rosemary, oregano, Italian seasoning, parsley and pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour.
Ladle into soup bowls.
Serve with cheese.
