Chicken Cacciatore With Italian Seasoning
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken||3 Pound, cut up and skinned|
|Pasta sauce||32 Ounce (Prego, 1 Jar)|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, sliced|
|Italian seasoning||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||16 Ounce, undrained and cut up (1 Can)|
|Hot cooked pasta||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place flour in dish; roll chicken pieces in flour, coating well.
In large skillet, brown chicken on all sides in hot oil.
Drain excess oil from skillet.
Add remaining ingredients, except pasta.
Cover; simmer 30-40 minutes or until chicken is fork tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot pasta.
