Ingredients
  Golden raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Marsala/Sweet sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Egg yolks 2
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
  Powdered sugar 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Soak raisins for about 30 minutes in Marsala, drain and reserve wine
2) In a mixing bowl, add flour and salt and gradually blend in the wine
3) Add egg yolks to this and milk to bring it to the consistency of thick cream sauce
4) Add the raisins to this batter
5) Heat oil in a large skillet and spoon batter into oil, three tablespoons for each fritter
6) Fry for about 4 – 5 minutes in both sides
7) Drain the fritters on paper towels

SERVING
8) Dust the fritters, if you would like extra sugar, with sugar powder and serve while hot
