Beef Pinwheels Italian
|Ground chuck||1⁄2 Pound|
|Evaporated milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Soft bread crumbs||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Mozzarella cheese||1⁄2 Pound, shredded|
Combine all ingredients except cheese.
Pat on wax paper into 12-inch squares; sprinkle with cheese, patting down a little.
Roll meat into a roll.
Cut into 12 slices.
Broil 12 to 15 minutes 6 inches from heat source, turning once.
Garnish with small mushrooms if desired.
This looks good and is a pleasant change from pizza meatloaf— even the kids like this.
