Asparagus Italian Style
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Fresh lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
GETTING READY 1) Remove the heaviest part of the asparagus stalk. MAKING 2) In a big saucepan, boil 2 quarts of water. 3) Add to the pan, asparagus and boil. 4) Do not cover the panand boil for 3-4 inutes or until tender and crisp. 5) Remove the asparagus from the water. FINALIZING 6) In a serving dish, place the asparagus and toss with olive oil and juice of lemon. SERVING 7) Serve the Italian style asparagus with your main course meal.
