Polenta With Meat Sauce

Ingredients
  Italian sausage 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound (1 Can Or 2 Cups)
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can Or 2/3 Cup)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Minced parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
  Corn meal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Cold water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Boiling water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
Directions

Make Meat Sauce: Slowly brown sausage; add next 7 ingredients.
Simmer uncovered 1 1/2 hours or till thick, stirring occasionally.
Skim off excess fat.
For Polenta, combine corn meal, cold water, and salt; gradually stir into boiling water.
Cook and stir till thick.
Cover; cook over low heat about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour into 9-inch pie plate.
Cool 5 minutes.
Cut in 6 wedges.
Serve Sauce over.
