Italian Chestnut Chocolate Dessert
|Sweet cooking chocolate||4 Ounce|
|Sweet butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned chestnut creme||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Whipped cream||2 Tablespoon|
|Chocolate curls||1 Tablespoon|
Melt chocolate in top part of double boiler over hot water.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Stir in vanilla and chestnut creme.
Beat in melted chocolate and beat until absolutely smooth.
Line bottom of 8-inch layer-cake pan or pie pan, or 8-inch square pan with wax paper.
Press mixture into pan.
Unmold and remove wax paper.
Decorate with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
