Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Canned tomatoes 30 Ounce, cut up (1 Can Of 1-Pound 14-Ounce)
  Canned tomatoes 1 Pound, cut up (1 Can)
  Tomato paste 12 Ounce (2 Cans, 6 Ounce Each)
  Snipped parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Oregano 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

In large skillet, combine onion, meat, and garlic; brown lightly.
Pour off excess fat from meat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, 3 hours or till sauce is thick.
Stir occasionally.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve over Italian Green Noodles or hot spaghetti.
Pass bowl of shredded Parmesan cheese.
