Minestrone Soup

Ingredients
  Cabbage 115 Gram
  Tomatoes 115 Gram
  Onions 115 Gram
  Carrots 115 Gram
  Turnip 30 Gram
  Leeks 30 Gram
  Celery 10 Gram
  Parsley sprigs 1
  Macaroni 55 Gram
  Cheese 30 Gram
  Garlic flakes 1
  Salt 10 Gram
  Pepper To Taste
  Stock 1 Liter
  Oil 15 Milliliter
Directions

1. Wash and dice into small pieces all the vegetables. Blanch tomatoes.
2. Mince onion and garlic.
3. Chop parsley.
4. Heat fat. Fry minced onion, garlic, parsley, carrots and turnip.
5. Add leeks, salt, pepper, blanched tomatoes, cabbage and celery. Add stock.
6. Bring to boiling point. Add macaroni cut into 1.25 cm. (1/2") pieces.
7. Simmer on slow fire till vegetables and macaroni are cooked.
8. Serve hot garnished with grated cheese.
