Italian Green Beans With Water Chestnuts

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Canned water chestnuts 5 Ounce, drained and sliced (1 cup, 1 can)
  Frozen italian green beans 20 Ounce (2 packages)
  Consomme 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

1.
Melt the butter in a heavy skillet, add the water chestnuts, and saute them lightly for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
2.
Stir in the beans, mixing well, and keep stirring until the beans are well broken up.
3.
Add the consomme, bring to a boil, cover tightly, turn the heat low, and simmer about 5 minutes, or until the beans are tender but still crisp.
