Italian Sausage Meatballs

This particular recipe is a very savory and meaty dish that you can eat alone or with pasta...either way it's delicious! *For the spicy lovers, you can sprinkle some ground cayenne pepper on top of the meatballs for an extra kick of flavor!*
Ingredients
  Sweet italian sausage 1 Pound
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), finely chopped
  Yellow onion 1⁄2 , diced
  Italian seasoning 2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2 , slightly beaten
  Bread crumbs 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Corn meal 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground fennel 2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1 Dash
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Crumble sausage and combine with beef. After chopping up onion and garlic, add to the meat mixture. Blend the seasonings, cinnamon, salt, and pepper along with the corn meal, bread crumbs, and eggs into the meat. Pour milk over the mixture and combine thoroughly. Form meatballs and brown in oil over medium heat in skillet.

Story
This recipe has been passed down by the women on my father's side for generations and when it was passed onto me, I couldn't be more thrilled! I has seen my grandmother make this many times before and now that I had it...I decided that I'd alter it just a tad( with grandma Cookie's permission of course) and lo and behold...it was perfection! Grandma even liked it. I hope you do too!
