Italian Tomato Soup

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Canned diced tomatoes 28 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)
  Canned white kidney beans 15 Ounce, drained, rinsed (1 Can)
  Tomato ketchup 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Thinly sliced carrots 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried basil leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

In medium saucepan, brown beef, onion and garlic; drain excess fat. Add tomatoes with juices and remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
