Vegetable Topped Italian Sandwiches

Ingredients
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Frozen cut broccoli 16 Ounce (1 1/2 Cups Or 1 Package)
  Coarsely chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned sliced mushrooms 4 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)
  Garlic/1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic in oil 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Pasta sauce 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Quick One)
  Kaiser rolls 4 , split
  Shredded mozzarella cheese 6 Ounce (1 1/2 Cups)
Directions

Heat oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Gradually add frozen broccoli; cook and stir 3 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium.
Add onion, mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir 4 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
Meanwhile, heat pasta sauce in small saucepan.
To assemble sandwiches, place roll halves, cut side up, on ungreased cookie sheet or broiler pan; toast under broiler, if desired.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the pasta sauce over each roll half.
Using slotted spoon, top each with 1/4 cup of broccoli mixture and 2 tablespoons of the cheese.
Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In 11/2-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine 1 tablespoon oil, frozen broccoli, onion, mushrooms and garlic.
Cover tightly.
Microwave on HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender, stirring once halfway through cooking.
Place pasta sauce in 4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup.
Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave on HIGH for 5 to 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring once halfway through cooking.
If desired, microwave each roll half on HIGH for 10 to 15 seconds or until warm.
To assemble sandwiches, place 4 roll halves on microwave-safe plate or platter.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the pasta sauce over each roll half.
Using slotted spoon, top each with 1/4 cup of broccoli mixture and 2 tablespoons of the cheese.
Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Repeat with remaining roll halves, pasta sauce and cheese.
