Tangy Italian Green Beans
|Frozen italian green beans||18 Ounce (Two 9 Ounce Packages)|
|Lean bacon slice||4 , diced|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Chicken stock||3 Tablespoon|
Quickly thaw green beans by immersing them in boiling water; separate quickly with a fork.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
Add bacon and onion; saute- until onion is tender.
Add beans, salt, pepper, and stock.
Bring mixture to a simmer; simmer, covered, until beans are tender, about 15 minutes.
