Italian Style Broccoli

Ingredients
  Broccoli 1 Pound (1 Bunch)
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Dried oregano 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Whole pimentos 4 Ounce, drained and cut into thin strips (1 Jar)
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Trim the broccoli to remove leaves and tough portions of the stems.
Cut the broccoli lengthwise into spears.
In a 7" X 11" baking dish, arrange the spears with the florets facing the center of the dish.
In a small cup, combine the oil, garlic, oregano, and pepper.
Spoon over the broccoli.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Rearrange the spears so they cook evenly.
Cover with wax paper and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
Let stand for 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the pimentos and lemon juice.
Spoon over the broccoli.
Cover with wax paper and microwave on high for 30 seconds.
Serve hot or cold.
