Italian Style Liver and Onions
|Plain dried bread crumbs||9 Tablespoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chicken livers||10 Ounce, cut into chunks|
|Sliced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In shallow dish combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; dip liver, 1 piece at a time, into milk, then into crumb mixture, being sure to use all of milk and crumb mixture.
Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; transfer liver to sheet and bake at 350°F until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
While liver is baking, in 9-inch nonstick skillet heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add onions and saute until golden.
