Pot Roast Italiano
|Beef roast||3 Pound|
|Hot water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Hot water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Season meat with salt and pepper; brown well in hot shortening.
Blend 3/4 cup water into tomato sauce mix from package of noodles Italiano; pour over meat.
Cover; simmer 2 hr., or until tender.
Spoon sauce over meat occasionally while cooking.
(If sauce thickens, add water.) Cook and drain noodles as directed on package.
Blend in butter, packet of cheese mix, and 1/4 cup water.
Arrange meat and noodles on serving platter.
Serve with sauce.
