Zuza Zak's Weeknight Dinners: Bruschetta

28th of 100 easy weeknight dinner recipes. This is my version of the Italian favorite.
Ingredients
  Ciabatta 1
  Tomatoes 3 (as needed)
  Basil leaves 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped finely
  Garlic clove 1 , peeled
  Parma ham slices 2
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon (more or less as needed)
  Salt and pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a colander, put tomatoes and pour boiling water over it. Peel the skin off and chop.
2. Preheat grill to high.

MAKING
3. Cut ciabatta in half and pop it in grill for 3-5 minutes.
4. In a bowl, add chopped tomatoes and basil.
5. Drizzle olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
6. Rub garlic clove on grilled hot bread and spoon tomato mixture on top.

SERVING
7. Lay ham slices and serve immediately.
