Italian Style Courgettes Zucchini
|Courgettes||14 Ounce, sliced (Zucchini, 3 1/2 Cups, 400 Gram)|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed, minced|
|Water||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Canned tomatoes||14 Ounce, drained and sieved (strained) or blended (1 1/2 Cups / 400 Gram)|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Grated parmesan cheese||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
Put the courgettes (zucchini) in a dish with the onion and garlic. Add the water. Cover with vented cling film (plastic wrap) and cook for about 7 minutes, until nearly done.
Stir in the sieved (strained) tomato and season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes, until hot through.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
