|Shredded cabbage||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||20 Ounce (1 No.2 Can)|
|Rice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Bay leaf||1 Small|
|Water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cook the beef and onions in a kettle until brown.
Add the potatoes and bring to a boil.
Add remaining ingredients except cheese and cover.
Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with cheese just before serving.
