Liver Venetian Style
|Onions||2 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Calves liver||1 Pound, sliced|
Place bacon slices in 10-inch microproof pie plate.
Cover with paper towels and cook on HI (max. power) 3 to 4 minutes, or until crisp.
Remove bacon, reserving drippings; drain bacon on paper towels.
Add onions to drippings, stir to coat them.
Cover with paper towels and cook on HI (max. power) 5 minutes, or until onions are transparent.
Move onions to side of dish and add liver.
Turn to coat both sides with drippings.
Cover with waxed paper and cook on 70 (roast) 8 to 1 0 minutes, or until no longer pink.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve liver topped with onions and crumbled bacon.
