Italian Pasta Sausage Soup
|Hot italian sausage links/Sweet italian sausage links||1 Pound|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, cut up (Undrained)|
|Canned chicken broth||14 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Basil leaves||1 Teaspoon|
|Oregano leaves||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic seasoning||16 Ounce|
|Grated fresh parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place sausage links in large saucepan or 5-quart Dutch oven.
Add water to a depth of about 1/2 inch.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until sausage is partially cooked; drain.
Slice sausage into 1/2-inch slices; return to saucepan.
Add tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato sauce, basil and oregano; blend well.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
