Italian Stewed Pork With Celery
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Olive oil/Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Carrot||1 , minced|
|Lean pork||2 Pound, cut into bite size pieces|
|Dry red wine/White wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced celery||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Bouillon/Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Chopped tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs) (fresh or canned)|
Brown garlic in oil and discard garlic.
Add carrot, pork, wine, salt, and pepper.
Cook, covered, over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
Cook celery in bouillon until almost tender; drain.
Add cooked celery and tomatoes to pork mixture for the last 15 minutes of cooking time.
