Gnocchi With Cheese
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Farina||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Slightly beaten eggs||2|
|Shredded parmesan cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine first 3 ingredients.
Scald (do not boil).
Stirring constantly, add farina in fine stream.
Cook and stir till thick.
Beat in eggs and half of cheese.
Pour into greased 8x8x2-inch pan.
Cut in slices 1/2-inch thick (4 inches long).
Overlap in greased 13x9x2-inch pan.
Dot with butter; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
