Uova In Tazzine
|Grated parmesan cheese||4 Tablespoon (Leveled)|
|Italian ham/Salami||4 Tablespoon (Leveled), finely chopped|
|Double heavy cream||4 Tablespoon|
|Melted butter||3⁄4 Tablespoon (1 Dessertspoon)|
Preheat the oven to moderate (350°F, Mark 4).
Butter 4 individual heatproof dishes well.
Sprinkle the base of each dish with the cheese and ham or salami, then pour in a tablespoon of cream.
Break an egg into each and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spoon the butter over the tops then stand in a roasting pan containing 1/2-inch cold water.
Cook in the centre of the oven for approximately 8 minutes or until the whites are set and the yokes still creamy.
