Granita Al Caffe

|Granulated sugar||2 Ounce|
The granita is a cross between a sorbet and a water ice and during the height of summer or after a heavy meal is one of the most refreshing desserts in existence.
Granita is, basically, half frozen crystals of ice, sweetened and flavoured to taste and served in small glasses.
Easy and uncomplicated to make, any granita tastes impressive and does much to stimulate a flagging digestion.
Combine the coffee and sugar well together and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Pour into 1 or 2 empty ice cube trays and leave in the freezing compartment of the refrigerator until half frozen; between 2 to 3 hours.
Stir the granita every hour while it is freezing to break down the ice crystals.
