Polenta With Chunky Tomato Sauce
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Instant polenta||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Uncooked)|
|Chunky tomato sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Freshly grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Add polenta in a slow, steady stream; stir constantly.
Reduce heat; cook over medium-low heat 10 minutes or until mixture pulls away from sides of pan, stirring constantly.
Press polenta evenly into individual gratin dishes.
Top with Chunky Tomato Sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
Garnish with oregano, if desired.
