Fresh Peas With Pancetta

Ingredients
  Pancetta slice 1 Ounce, chopped (3 Slices)
  Chopped white onions 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Shelled green peas/Frozen petite green peas 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Fat free low sodium chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chopped fresh flat leaf parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pancetta, saute 5 minutes or until crispy.
Remove pancetta from pan, reserving drippings in pan.
Add onion and garlic to pan, saute 1 minutes or until tender.
Add peas, broth, sugar, and salt to pan.
Simmer 5 minutes or until peas are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in pancetta arid chopped parsley.
