Northwoods Minestrone

Ingredients
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Sliced green onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped red pepper/Chopped green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned whole tomatoes 56 Ounce, undrained and cut up (2 Cans, 28 Ounce Each)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Italian seasoning 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Walleye/Substitute fillets, 6 ounce each 1⁄2 Pound, skin removed, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  Canned dark red kidney beans 15 1⁄2 Ounce, rinsed and drained (1 Can)
  Frozen italian green beans/Cut green beans 9 Ounce (1 Package)
  Uncooked rotini 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In 6-quart Dutch oven or stockpot, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add onions and chopped pepper.
Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender, stirring constantly.
Stir in tomatoes, water, sugar, Italian seasoning, salt, garlic powder and cayenne.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Return mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until fish is firm and opaque and just begins to flake, stirring occasionally.
