Veal Scallopini

Ingredients
  Veal steak 2 Pound
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced thin
  Sauterne/Sherry wine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Pepper 1 Pinch
  Sage 1 Pinch
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Tomato sauce 11 1⁄4 Ounce (1 1/2 Small Cans)
Directions

Melt butter; saute garlic until brown then discard garlic.
Brown veal strips in butter.
Combine flour, salt, pepper, sage and nutmeg.
When meat is golden brown, add flour mixture, stirring to coat each piece with flour.
Add onions, wine and tomato sauce.
Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until meat is tender.
Remove meat from pan.
