Tuscan Beans With Sage And Pancetta
|Olive oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Thinly sliced pancetta||2 Ounce, cut into strips|
|Canned cannellini beans/Great northern beans||30 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 15 Ounce Each)|
|Fresh sage leaves||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
1 Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, just until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the pancetta and cook, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 3 minutes.
2 Add the beans and sage; cook, stirring occasionally, until the flavors are blended, about 10 minutes. Stir in the salt and pepper.
