Iced Biscuit Tortoni
|Vanilla wafer crumbs/Macaroon cookie crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cut up red candied cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped salted almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart, slightly softened|
|Red candied cherries||4 Tablespoon|
|Green candied cherries||4 Tablespoon|
Line 8 medium muffin cups with paper baking cups.
Mix cookie crumbs, cut-up cherries and almonds.
Fold into ice cream.
Divide ice-cream mixture among paper-lined muffin cups.
Arrange red cherry half and slices of green cherry on each to resemble a flower.
Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
