Italian Fried Chicken
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), grated|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Basil||3⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed (dried)|
|Nutmeg||1⁄8 Teaspoon, ground|
|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Pound, cut up|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
In paper or plastic bag combine parmesan cheese, flour, basil, salt, nutmeg, and dash pepper.
Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat evenly.
In 12-inch skillet heat cooking oil.
Place meaty chicken pieces toward the center and remaining pieces around the edge.
Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 50 to 55 minutes or till chicken' is tender, turning occasionally.
Drain on paper toweling.
