Italian Meat Sauce
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and crushed|
|Dried oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned tomato sauce||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
In a medium-size glass bowl crumble beef.
Heat, uncovered, on medium for 6 minutes, stirring frequently until meat is browned.
Drain off excess fat.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend well.
Cook, uncovered, on medium 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
