Green Beans Italiano
|Sliced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic cloves||2 Medium, minced|
|Oregano leaves||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Basil leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Condensed tomato soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 can)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Frozen cut green beans||18 Ounce (2 packages, 9 ounces each)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)|
In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
Cook onion with garlic, oregano, and basil in drippings until tender.
Add soup, water, and beans.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until beans are tender.
Garnish with bacon and cheese.
