Polenta With Herbs
|Water/Chicken stock||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Cornmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped herbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Such As Parsley, Basil Or Rosemary)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Place the water or chicken stock in a medium-sized saucepan over high heat and bring it to a boil. Gradually add the cornmeal and salt.
2. Reduce heat to medium low and cook for about 40 minutes, or until the cornmeal becomes quite thick. If desired, add the herbs and cheese.
