Italian Meat Balls

Ingredients
  Ground meat 1⁄2 Pound
  Egg 1 , well beaten
  Onion 1⁄2 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) (Few Snips)
  Chopped parsley 1 Teaspoon (Few Snips)
  Bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Black pepper To Taste
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Pinch
Directions

Mix together first 9 ingredients and make into small balls.
Brown in fat.
Set aside.
In saucepan, mix together oil, tomato paste, water, onion and sugar.
When sauce has come to a boil, add pinch of soda.
Add browned meat balls.
Simmer one hour.
