Pesto is a mandatory side dish for many Italian recipes. Mashed basil with cheese makes easy pesto. Have your share of pasta with a bowl of Pesto.
  Fresh basil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), minced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Parmesan cheese\ 1
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon

Mash basil, garlic and cheese; add oil as needed to make a paste.
