Lemony Spritz Sticks
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Confectioners sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice concentrate||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Unsifted flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Chocolate glaze||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add juice beat well.
Stir in flour and salt; mix well.
Place dough in cookie press with star-shaped plate.
Press dough onto greased baking sheets into 3-inch strips.
Bake 5 to 6 minutes or until lightly browned on edges.
Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from baking sheets.
Dip ends of cookies in Chocolate Glaze, then into nuts.
