Ingredients
All purpose flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs), melted
  Vanilla extract/Anise extract 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 6
Directions

1. Preheat 7-inch electric pizzelle iron* as manufacturer directs. Into large bowl, measure all ingredients. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula.
2. Pour 2 tablespoonfuls batter at a time onto center of pizzelle iron. Cover; bake as manufacturer directs (do not lift cover during baking).
3. When done, lift cover and loosen pizzelle with fork. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
4. When cookies are cold, break each into 4 wedge-shaped pieces to serve. (The 7-inch iron makes round cookies, each with 4 sections.) Store pizzelles in tightly covered container.
