Traditional Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
  Extra virgin olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Fresh garlic 6 Clove (30 gm), chopped
  Canned plum tomatoes 32 Ounce, partially crushed
  Parsley sprigs 2 , chopped
  Basil sprig 2 , chopped
  Black pepper 3 Pinch
  Kosher salt 4 Pinch
Directions

MAKING
1 In a large saucepan, heat the oil.
2 Add in the chopped garlic and saute until light brown.
3 Once the garlic is brown lower the heat and pour in the tomatoes.
4 Add in the parsley and basil.
5 Sprinkle with black pepper and kosher salt.
6 Mix well to incorporate and let simmer for about 25 minutes.

SERVING
7 Serve as desired

I love this basic Italian sauce for so many things. I grow Italian Flat Leaf Parsley and it really is btter than that frilly stuff.
