Italian Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped sun dried tomatoes 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Not Packed In Oil)
  Cream cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened to room temperature (Nonfat / Reduced Fat)
  Chopped black olives 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped scallions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Finely chopped basil/1 teaspoon dried basil 1 Tablespoon (Fresh)
Directions

1. Place the water in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in the tomatoes, cover, and remove from the heat. Set aside for at least 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.
2. Combine the cream cheese, olives, scallions, and basil in a medium-sized bowl, and stir to mix well. Stir in the tomatoes. Transfer the spread to a serving dish, cover, and chill for at least 1 hour.
3. Stir before serving with Pita Chips, Garlic and Herb Bagel Chips or wedges of Italian or sourdough bread.
